Description bgcalvin 2010-09-03 22:40:12 UTC
I have Ubuntu 9.10 and am using the gstreamer movie player that comes with the OS. When I try to play DVDs using the program I receive a message stating that my GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in. I do not know how to fix this and was hoping that you would be able to give me advice. thank you

Please file a bug at http://launchpad.net against Ubuntu or try to get support from one of their many ways to get support.

But you should be able to play DVDs if you install the gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad and gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly packages.
