GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 628701
Details panel not expanded
Last modified: 2011-10-19 15:11:10 UTC
If I maximize de "Applying pending operations" window, the details panel is not expanded, and I have a huge grey area covering most of the lower part of the window. It really uncomfortable reading so much information in a small details panel, having a gray area covering over 50% of the screen.
Hi Hugo, i've been asked to look at this report. Could you tell me a bit more about when the issue arises, perhaps attaching a screenshot of when it happened? I cannot seem to reproduce any grey area behaviour. That is with 0.5.1 and GPARTED_0_7_1-2-g203107f. My main question mark is probably what you mean by 'Maximize'? Is there a specific action for that or do you mean by grabbing and dragging the layout dividers? Also, t can't hurt to confirm that with 'details panel' you indeed mean the list-view with the 'partition, filesystem, size, used, unused, flags' columns, not the 'Device Information' panel?
Created attachment 178757 [details] Applying pending operations window - details panel does not expand to fill bottom portion of window I believe that the attached screen shot demonstrates the problem. Specifically when the "Apply pending operations" window is increased in size, the details panel does not grow to use the extra space in the window.
Issue persists in GParted 0.8.0. Any plans to fix this?
Hugo, If you have time to investigate and create a patch it would be much appreciated. Curtis
