Description Richard Eames 2010-09-03 01:53:51 UTC
Downstream bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/625921

"Steps to reproduce:
Way 1: ( Make sure that gedit was previously loaded maximized)
1) Open nautilus
2) Create a file "foo.txt"
3) Double click file to open it in gedit

Way 2:
1) Open gedit from start menu so that it doesn't load any files
2) Maximize the window
3) File -> Open, Select a text file

Expected Results:
Gedit should stay on the monitor it was loaded / or on the monitor that the mouse is on

Actual Results:
Gedit loads on the correct monitor, but after loading the first file moves itself to my second monitor."

Mass-closing of all gedit bugzilla tickets.

Special "code" to find again all those gedit bugzilla tickets that were open before the mass-closing:

2bfe1b0590a78457e1f1a6a90fb975f5878cb60064ccfe1d7db76ca0da52f0f3

By searching the above sha256sum in bugzilla, the gedit contributors can find again the tickets. We may be interested to do so when we work on a specific area of the code, to at least know the known problems and possible enhancements.

We do this mass-closing because bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org.
