GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 628554
Moving logical partition graphically not matched by numerical values
Last modified: 2010-09-23 17:04:19 UTC
Since GParted 0.6.0, using the mouse to move a logical partition graphically is not matched by the numerical values (e.g., Free Space Before). The numerical values appear to stay the same, or are infrequently updated. This problem does not appear when moving a primary partition that is not located at the front of the drive.
A fix for this problem has been committed to the gnome git repository for inclusion in the next release of GParted (0.6.3). The relevant git commit can be viewed at the following link: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gparted/commit/?id=9d4ae28759af168b6a187de5f2d6735f976eec71
The enhancements to address this bug report have been included in GParted 0.6.3 which was released on September 23, 2010. Closing this bug report.
