Description Alexander Lancey 2010-09-01 03:44:48 UTC
In Ubuntu Maverick, using Gedit 2.30.3-1ubuntu1, the '*' in the title that indicates changes is slow to disappear. Normally, it disappears as soon as the document is saved.

Can you provide more info on when you see this? It definitely goes away as soon as it is saved for me. Do you observe it all the time or only under some specific condition (e.g. many files open, remote files open, etc)
