Description Vish 2010-08-31 10:37:34 UTC
Bug first reported in lp :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/388500

Steps to reproduce:

Open a picture folder
Sort by modification date
Open a file
Click next
Watch as EOG goes to the next file in order of name rather than modified date

There is no way to say Eye of Gnome to sort the pictures in an order then alphabetic.
The best way would be if EoG would use the file sort option of nautilus
if this can not be changes easily an extra file sort option in EoG would be great
