Description Yann 2010-08-25 12:03:01 UTC
"Purikura" are very VERY popular in Asia. It would be nice to implement a similar "sticker-like customization" feature in Cheese, it would have great success in Asia.

"Purikura" are high-tech photobooths where you :
- first take pictures,
- then have a limited time (e.g. 2 minutes) use a software (integrated in the photobooth) with digital pens that allow you to add stamps (stars/flowers/hats/hearts/accessories/hair) or draw lines, on the pictures.
- and then the machine prints the customized pictures in the desired format (generally stickers).

As Cheese is not a drawing software, we should take care in keeping this feature as simple and fun as in the real "purikura".

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen
updates for a long time.

If you still use cheese and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a
recent and currently supported version, then please feel free to report it at
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/cheese/-/issues/

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented
(volunteer workforce and time is quite limited).
