GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 627393
tax codes not includes in sql
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:43:21 UTC
Saving the gnucash file as sql, the tax codes associated to the accounts are not exported.
I have taken an xml based gnucash file with tax codes assigned to accounts and saved it to a sqlite3 database file, closed gnucash and re-opened the sqlite3 database file and all the tax code assignments seem to be preserved properly and the Tax Report is exactly as it was in the xml version. So this indicates that the tax attributes are being saved.
Jannick, please make a minimal xml file which illustrates the problem and attach it.
But before you do, please try 2.3.16. One major hole in the sql backend's storage was fixed in this latest release.

Tax report information is contained in sqlite file (look for entries containing "tax" in column "name" in table "slots").
