Could you add an option to reset play counts that additionally needs to reset play counts on files that have play count written to their metadata

Thanks for the report, Antonio, I agree that this would be a valuable feature for Banshee to have.  I realize that Bug 600067 isn't exactly the same as this, but a fix for that bug would also fix this one, and some work has already gone into 600067, so I'm going to mark this report as a duplicate.

For more details, you can read through the comments there, but in general, that bug proposes a history editor that would allow you to change play counts, skip counts, etc for your songs.  Aaron Bockover developed a quick extension that can do this, but it doesn't handle editing multiple files yet.
