previous button must be pressed several times to go the previous song
Last modified: 2020-03-17 08:53:39 UTC
this report has been filed here: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/603971 "When you want to go to the previous song you must press the previous button several times very quickly, 4-5 times. Or you'll be jumped to the current song beginning." "try this - start playing - skip 10-15 songs quickly (next) - then hit back quickly 5-6 times - then let the music play for at least 5 seconds - hit back RESULT: the song restarts. OK! - now hit back again at 0:01s RESULT: the song restarts. FAIL! - try again to go to the previous song you must hit very quickly the back button 3-4 times" " I've just done a clean reinstall, the bug is still present, but not necessarly at the first try. Maybe you have to go back by some songs, but at a certain point you won't be able to go back again unless you rapidly hit the button. I noticed that when the bug triggers, after pressing back normally the album art next to the play control is toggled "
What version of sqlite are you using? Run sqlite3 --version
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
