Description Paul Menzel 2010-08-18 21:31:05 UTC
I upgraded from 2.30.2 to 2.30.3 and jumping from/selecting input box does not highlight the content anymore but just puts the cursor at the beginning.

Two examples.

1. Open a new appointment. Use Tab to jump to the time. It is not highlighted but the cursor is set to the front.

2. Ctrl + u and enter some keywords. Ctrl + u again and the keywords are not selected. You have to mark/select them and start typing to enter new keywords.

I prefer the old way because selecting/highlighting all you have to use the mouse, Shift + arrow keys or Ctrl + a. Going from highlighted to the beginning, you just have to hit the arrow key once, which is on the alphanumeric keys if you use a “clever” layout like [1].

I do not know if it is an Evolution bug. But I could just reproduce it in Evolution. Epiphany behaves as always using Ctrl + l for example.
