Works fine for me. You will need to do more investigation yourself. Start by running 'rhythmbox -D mtp' in a terminal and transferring a few files that include cover art.
Created attachment 168491 [details] terminal mtpcover result
ok, I launch rhythmbox with 'rhythmbox -D mtp' and plug my creative zen after. I transfered album 'dreamcatcher" (artist : andy mc kee) : the cover is present in the folder (name : cover.jpg) and in mp3tag. you can see in attachment the result in terminal
Do you have the cover art plugin enabled?
yes, I have (the plugin write by James Livingston). and mtp plugin write by Peter Grundström Covers appear in the rythymbox player (and in docky ;-)
