Description marceloramone 2010-08-13 19:42:07 UTC
Hello,

I'm using Ubunbtu 10.04 with Empathy 2.30.2 and Today I needed to check the history of conversations and I noticed that are not properly stored. The program keeps only a small part of discussions that were actually much longer.

Thanks.-

Logger as been completely rewritten in 2.31.x. Any chance you could test using latest 2.31 and latest telepathy-logger?

Hello,

I noticed that telepathy-logger was not installed in Ubuntu 10.04 by default.

Now I'M installing telepathy-logger 0.1.4-1~ppa10.04+1

any news?
Comment 6 Guillaume Desmottes 2010-11-08 09:34:29 UTC
Closing this bug for now. If you have logging issue:

a) Please check telepathy-logger is installed and running
b) Then check if chats are properly logged ( ~/.local/share/TpLogger/logs) if not that's a tp-logger bug that should be reported on bugs.freedesktop.org
c) If they are logged but doesn't appear in Empathy then that's an Empathy bug that should be reported as a new bug.
