Are you sure this is with f-spot 0.7.2?
Comment 2 Ruben Vermeersch 2010-08-17 12:28:37 UTC
Oh never mind, it is.

Could you paste me the output of "gvfs-mount -l -i", with the memory card inserted?

Comment 4 Dave Gilbert 2010-08-27 17:37:37 UTC
Hi,
I get the same symptoms; I've also attached the logs; this is from a Panasonic FZ-28 camera mounted in PC mode (it shows up below as the 2GB filesystem); I've also seen it on a SD card.
f-spot 0.7.2-1 on Ubuntu Maverick (uptodate alpha) - used to work on the Gnome/F-spot version in Ubuntu Lucid.

Comment 6 Ruben Vermeersch 2010-09-13 21:46:13 UTC
Apparently it still exists. I added a debug statement for this in git. Could someone test f-spot from git and paste the output when run with --debug?
Comment 7 g11024342@trbvm.com 2010-09-14 08:30:41 UTC
Is this debug statement also present in the version I'm running?

Also, how do I run f-spot with --debug when it's not "me" starting it. F-spot starts automatically when I insert my camera (after a dialog). If I start f-spot manually no crash happens.

any news for this report?

I think this is fixed in 0.8? I can't recall seeing it since upgrading to Maverick which included this version..
