GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 62683
scrollbar acts incorrectly with wide graph
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
If you create a graph wider than the screen area and scroll back, as you return the scrollbar "thumb" increases in size. This prevents the user from scrolling back to the end of the graph. This is critical in time series. 1) new gnumeric 2) A1:a10 gets 1:10 3) B1:B10 gets 11:20 4) Plot -> linegraph -> finish 5) As the graph is placed drag past the right of the plot area so the plot ends up approx D4:AD14 6) use srollbar to get back to start of sheet --> the "thumb" gets bigger and at end has taken up the whole scroll area so the right scroll arrow doesn't work. cheers, 'confused boy'
After you resize the plot area, the thumb starts behaving correctly.
This would not be graph specific. I'll have a look shortly.
Ok, I was not rechecking the bounds after an object was added. fixed in CVS.
