Description Pedro Villavicencio 2010-08-12 16:56:04 UTC
this report has been filed here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/553139

"It is not that obvious how to reach the fullscreen menu. For me there is no problem but for a normal user may be annoyed or not understand what to do when there are no menus after going to fullscreen.
The way to reach the buttons are to hover the mousepointer at the top of the screen.

I propose that the the user experience when showing photos in fullscreen/slideshow should be the same as when showing video in fullscreen.
This means shortly that the menus should be shown as the mouse is moved. When the user stops moving the mouse the menu should disappear after a certain timeout as in the Video player. There should be no inconsistency that can confuse the user."

Thanks,

Eog previously worked in this way, but some time ago, was discussed a bug[#501073] about how full screen mode should be more discreet. So this is not a bug, is a feature.
