GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 626647
copydoc does not recognize array parameters e.g. int[]
Last modified: 2010-10-09 08:19:37 UTC
copydoc does not correctly recognize a function signature containing array notation. I have many function signatures of the form foo(int a[], char *b) and foo64(int64_t a[], char *b) where I would like to copy the documentation from foo to foo64. Unfortunately if the signature contains brackets [] anywhere, the function lookup fails to find a match or finds an incorrect match. I was able to work around this by adding \[\] to the FUNCCHAR on line 314 of src/doctokenizer.l: FUNCCHAR [a-z_A-Z0-9,:\<\> \t\*\&] becomes FUNCCHAR [a-z_A-Z0-9,:\<\> \t\*\&\[\]] But I'm not sure if this would have unwanted side effects. So far so good.
Makes sense indeed.
