Description Philip Van Hoof 2010-08-09 12:51:44 UTC
I use sort on rating, but the items end up not sorted on that rating at all. I also tried sorting on a few other fields, and they are all *very* strangely sorted.

For example when I let it sort on "Time" I get it sorted like, 4:34 then 1:18 then 6:42. So I wonder .... what sorting? This is not sorted! It's just a different random order now!

Oh, by the way: when I import from a fresh situation (I delete .config/banshee-1 and I import my songs again) then sorting is right, apparently. But then I of course loose all the rating info from my Banshee 1.0 install (I've let Banshee 1.7 convert the database)

While I can't find proof right now, I'm pretty confident that sorting was another symptom of the sqlite 3.7 bug, and I'm closing this as a dupe of Bug 625783. If downgrading to sqlite 3.6 (or upgrading to a patched version of 3.7) doesn't fix this issue, feel free to reopen this report.
