Description Tarlika Elisabeth Schmitz 2010-08-08 19:26:56 UTC
1) When switching the Secondary Key to a non-date on the Sorting tab, the Secondary Subtotal for Date Key drop-down is disabled as it should be. However, when going back to "Date" it is not enabled again.

2) It would be useful to add a "Daily" option to the Secondary Subtotal for Date Key in situations you have dozens of transactions per day and group!

The error #1 is most probably already fixed in the 2.3.14 unstable release which will lead to a stable 2.4.0 release within the next weeks. Can you check whether the bug is still there in that version? Thanks!
Comment 2 Tarlika Elisabeth Schmitz 2010-08-13 09:53:45 UTC
I run the current Debian stable release. The next release, which is just around the corner, will include 2.2.9. I will have to wait another 1-2 years till I get 2.4.

Anyone who has 2.3 or 2.4 installed can easily follow above description even without having to create test data. If my description is unclear I'll be happy to clarify.
Comment 3 Christian Stimming 2010-09-24 19:53:05 UTC
The error #1 does not exist anymore in 2.3.15.

The proposal #2 is a good proposal but not completely trivial, so we'll keep it here until someone gets around to do it.
Comment 4 Chris 2018-03-02 15:25:05 UTC
#2 is doable, is there still demand for it?
Comment 5 Chris 2018-03-03 05:06:25 UTC
Actually #2 is already present in unstable.

Comment 6 Chris 2018-04-09 05:37:46 UTC
Let's mark as fixed in master ?
Comment 7 Geert Janssens 2018-04-16 18:56:45 UTC
This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Once that release is available, you may want to check for a software upgrade provided by your Linux distribution.
