Description Andrés G. Aragoneses (IRC: knocte) 2010-08-05 14:49:19 UTC
1. Have the following hierarchy in your Banshee library:

Music
2 smart playlists A and B (at least 1 song on each playlist)

Video
1 smart playlist C (at least one video in the playlist)

2. Enable AutoSync on your DAP device with both Music and Video, as Whole Collection
3. Let everything sync.
4. Disconnect device.
5. Connect device (everything is synced ok).

Now follow a or b:

6a. Change Music to be synced Manually.
7a. Result: playlists A and B disappear from the DAP.
8a. Change Video to be synced Manually.
9a. Nothing happens.

6b. Change Video to be synced Manually.
7b. Result: playlists C disappears from the DAP.
8b. Change Music to be synced Manually.
9b. Nothing happens.

Current results are 9a and 9b.

Expected results should be X or Y.

Interpretation X:
9a: Playlist C should be removed from the DAP.
9b: Playlists A & B should be removed from the DAP.

Interpretation Y:
7a: Nothing happens.
7b: Nothing happens.

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
