Description Michael Vogt 2010-08-03 12:02:56 UTC
Hi,

I love gpointing-device-settings and use it in all of my thinkpads.

For my "normal" PC I have a external lenovo thinkpad USB keyboard. It shows up fine with xinput but gpointing-device-settings fails to show it. I looked at the source of xinput.c and the source of gpointing-device-settings.c and I think the reason is that
XInput2 is used in xinput but not in gpointing-device-settings.

Thanks,
 Michael

GPointingDeviceSettings is not under active development anymore and saw its last non-cosmetic code changes in 2010. Its codebase has been archived:

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
