GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 625349
Background file should be stored, not its location
Last modified: 2010-07-26 19:39:34 UTC
Currently, if you add a background by drag-and-drop, only the location of the new background is saved, not the background itself. That means if we remove the background file inadvertently, the background will switch to a solid color on the next login. I would suggest to store the background itself, not its location. And to add a way to remove backgrounds manually added in the appearance applet.
