Description Mike 2010-07-26 04:35:25 UTC
I just had an issue with the GDP plugin lacking a dependency, and figuring out that that was the problem was a bit tricky, until I thought to run gedit in the terminal.

It would be great, if plugins that fail to load for whatever reason would explain what happened in some kind of detail. Right now, they simply gray out, making the user wonder what the heck happened. It would be better if it at least said something like, "This plugin has crashed while loading. [details]"

Users that cared could toggle the details, and ones that didn't would at least know why it grayed out.
