Description steubens 2010-07-16 13:05:07 UTC
in the provided file[1] if you open it in totem, seek to <~5 minutes, watch until 5:30, press the left arrow once to seek back; then watch to and beyond 5:30 again the audio will drop out around where you initially seeked from with the arrow key, and then continue to drop in and drop out; never really re-syncing with the video.

Confirmed. Seek basically anywhere, and audio is fine for a few seconds and then just drops out. Moving to -good for now since that's where matroskademux and most audio parsers live.
Comment 2 Mark Nauwelaerts 2012-05-18 09:19:35 UTC
The above does not seem to reproduce in latest git. Audio and video following (at least some random) seek still appear fine.
Comment 3 Tim-Philipp Müller 2012-10-26 22:41:09 UTC
Just hangs for me after seeking, never prerolls and goes back to playing again (perhaps because there's not enough audio data to start up the ringbuffer and hence the audio clock?), or no audio makes it to the sink at all.
Comment 4 Edward Hervey 2018-05-12 10:53:42 UTC
File works fine now with plenty of different seeks.
