Description Lukas Jirkovsky 2010-07-09 11:49:02 UTC
It would be really great if the Sample Points dialog had "Sample
average" option as the Color Picker Tool has, because it would
certainly improve color correction experience. Without sample average
it's not exactly more difficult to do color corrections in Gimp, but
it's much more error prone because you can accidentally select the
pixel with color lot of color noise.

I wanted to add this all the time, thanks for the reminder.
Comment 2 Martin Nordholts 2011-03-14 07:16:06 UTC
Low priority compared to things on our roadmap, moving off milestone
Comment 3 Elle Stone 2016-05-10 00:47:12 UTC
A sample average option for the Sample Points dialog would be very useful.
