Description Maciej (Matthew) Piechotka 2010-07-03 10:46:56 UTC
GNOME 3.0 libraries should be parallel installable with 2.0.

libgweather installs status icons without noting version as well as gweather schema is not versioned (/etc/gconf/schemas/gweather.schemas).
Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2011-02-08 12:50:42 UTC
That is really only needed if there are important users of the library that have not been ported to GTK+ 3. For libgweather, I think all important users (clock applet, weather applet, evolution) have been ported.
Comment 2 Matthias Clasen 2011-02-25 21:36:18 UTC
In our modulesets, we have two users of libgweather, evolution-data-server and gnome-panel. Both have been ported to GTK+ 3, so no need to treat this as a 3.0 blocker.
