Description Mike 2010-06-24 15:33:43 UTC
If I move my pictures collection from one computer to another, and then reimport all of them into f-spot, it doesn't recognize that...
 - IMG3320.JPG and
 - IMG3320 (Modified).JPG...

...are the same. It should, and they should be grouped together.

True. For now, you can use the reparenting feature in 0.7.0 to combine them: drag and drop the pictures onto eachother.
Comment 2 Mike 2010-06-24 15:50:56 UTC
That's a big improvement over modifying the DB in the 0.6.x series, but I can't imagine doing that for the hundreds of modified versions on my system. Just finding these pairs of photos is quite challenging, since they may not have modified dates that are near to each other (making the two photos get shown in f-spot in disparate locations).
