Comment 2 Alexander Gnodtke 2010-11-03 08:38:36 UTC
This seems to have been resolved in 2.32.0.1 (ubuntu version 2.32.0.1-0ubuntu1) can anyone confirm?
Comment 3 Guillaume Desmottes 2010-11-03 14:33:05 UTC
Indeed, seems to work fine now.
Comment 4 Omer Akram 2011-01-13 11:35:56 UTC
steps to reproduce:
open a chat with someone you already have chatted before, type something into the text field and copy it either with ctrl+c or right click. now select any of the previous conversation text and press ctrl+c now try to paste the text, the old copied text(the one in the text box) is pasted. re-opening.
Comment 5 Pavol Klačanský 2011-04-25 19:52:00 UTC
at me, Ctrl+C not work in normal chat over jabber, I have to use rightclicl -> copy
Comment 6 Guillaume Desmottes 2011-04-28 13:59:52 UTC
I still can't reproduce this bug with master. If someone can it would be good if it could do some digging.
Comment 7 Pavol Klačanský 2011-04-28 16:21:24 UTC
in Empathy 2.34.0 still persists
Comment 8 Brian Curtis 2011-05-12 20:43:43 UTC
Perhaps it does work in 3.x.x but since 2.34.x is in Natty it may not be working there. Where in the code does empathy take care of supporting ctrl+c and ctrl+v ?

I think it's very much worth a SRU in Natty if we can find out where the code is.
Comment 9 Michael 2011-09-15 04:02:52 UTC
I can confirm this in 2.34
Comment 10 Dario Bertini 2012-02-01 17:24:57 UTC
I just tested this with master ( 0dc2ba9ea63c7d7d7f46b4d4e8b9311dfad823bb ) and I can reproduce it
