"Pads have specific data handling capabilities: A pad..." - I think "A pad" shouldn't start with a capital letter.

Another one: http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/manual/html/section-intro-basics-communication.html

"messages: are object send from elements" - I think here should be "objects".
