Description Omer Akram 2010-06-13 18:12:02 UTC
This is a usability issue.

"CONTEXT

Right-clicking inside the Empathy chat window creates a menu with up to three options: 'Clear,' which clears the entire chat log; 'Copy' (if text is selected); and 'Select All.'

PROBLEM

It is very easy to select 'Clear' when you mean to select 'Copy'. This instantly blows away all the text in the chat window, including what you were about to copy.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

A program's "self-destruct switch" will not be inconveniently placed next to a commonly used option, or otherwise easy to trigger by accident."
