Description Jonh Wendell 2010-06-10 16:59:17 UTC
I've got a file which gedit shows a new line in the line 65. If I open the file with vim, this new line doesn't exist.

The file is iso8859-15.
Comment 1 Jonh Wendell 2010-06-10 17:04:40 UTC
The first line of that file contains the char 'ô'. If I replace this char with an 'o', gedit open the file correctly. The line 65 is not a new line, but an ordinary line, just like vim shows.
Comment 2 Garrett Regier 2010-06-10 17:08:00 UTC
Can you attach the file? Because I not reproduce this with master.
Comment 3 Jonh Wendell 2010-06-10 17:24:40 UTC
Actually I can't, as this file is kind of private. I've sent it to nacho by mail. Can send to you too if you want.

bugzilla doesn't support having private attachments.
Comment 4 Garrett Regier 2010-06-10 17:25:43 UTC
Just found out via nacho and its not a problem.
Comment 5 Garrett Regier 2010-06-25 10:21:04 UTC
The newline does not appear using gedit 2.28.0
