when i choose a background picture for nautilus from my own files and the size of photo is very large, the preview has the original size of the photo - just too big. the preview should have minified, consistent size so you can see the preview of the complete picture no matter which size.

there are also defaults with the choosen backgound sometimes (picture damaged, wrong size)

Confirming, we should use the same method used when selecting a custom icon.
