Description Stefan Westerfeld 2010-06-08 15:38:16 UTC
I used the beast mailing list in the past (like January this year), and my
messages showed up on the list. However, all my recent mails got lost, for

which I sent on 7th of June, 2010. The log file of my sendmail says:

Finally, I looked on the mailing list moderation web site,

But I don't know if that is responsible for the mail not being delivered.

Any ideas how to fix this?
Comment 1 Olav Vitters 2010-06-08 17:58:00 UTC
1. Your delivering the mail directly to mail.gnome.org
2. http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/Rules/FH_HELO_EQ_D_D_D_D (helo address is not like a server)

Fixing #2 would already let it through.

Comment 2 Stefan Westerfeld 2010-06-09 11:20:27 UTC
Thanks for the analysis, I was able to fix my sendmail configuration to use a proper hostname (space.twc.de), and mails to the beast list work again. I'm closing the bug.
