currently, the bottom of the main window is showing :
[Online]
[Network] [Status(generally blank)] 

As status is generally blank, we could improve it by putting on the same line:
[Network] [Online]

(see mockup in attached file)

and display the status only when needed, in a visible way (for example the way Empathy indicates in red a connection problem)

This would save space and make Ekiga more aesthetic and ergonomic.

The status was moved to top, so this bug is no longer relevant in my opinion.  Feel free to reopen if you disagree.
