Description Iain Lane 2010-05-26 22:45:49 UTC
Debian and Ubuntu have been shipping a patch to link with the system Flickrnet. The major distros have good enough packaged versions of flickrnet that f-spot can drop its copy now and just use that.

It's done at

  http://gitorious.org/f-spot/mainline/merge_requests/39

Cheers,
Iain

Added a missing check for the package in configure.ac. Keep in mind that it's
needed to check for all the dependencies during the configure phase.
Comment 2 Iain Lane 2010-05-29 09:59:47 UTC
Sorry for missing that.

Ruben pointed out that Debian and Ubuntu (and the removed embedded copy) have a patch to fix zooomr support. This patch is on the upstream bug tracker at

  http://flickrnet.codeplex.com/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=2459

but is not yet merged. Other distributions might wish to apply this patch to their copies of flickrnet.
