Description Omer Akram 2010-05-26 15:35:15 UTC
When you change you nick for salut/local_xmpp (people nearby) through Edit > Personal information. The information is not saved. Quit and restart empathy and go to Edit > Personal information and the name is back to the previous name. Empathy failed to record the change. Changing names through the Accounts window seems to work properly.

This should have been fixed with bug #613044 in 2.31.x
