Created attachment 161396 [details] Trace file of the import problem
Created attachment 161397 [details] QIF generated by homebank you can use to replicate problem
Created attachment 161398 [details] Smaller file with only one transanction The problem are the transactions without payee. Those transactions break the QIF importer.
Thanks for the detailed problem report. Just one more thing that you could test: Do you think you can download a gnucash-2.3.12 package and check whether this also fails on this data file? (But OTOH the information you provided is sufficient for us to test this otherwise.)
Hi, I replicated the problem with Gnucash 2.3.12 binary in Win32 (r19045) using that same file test (attachment 161398 [details]). Gnucash's qif import fails with this data file so the bug is still present on the current SVN versions with exactly the same behaviour as the stable releases.
Hi, I realized this problem has been already reported on Bug 583269
