Description igor calì 2010-05-09 13:40:18 UTC
Rhythmbox cannot play song from a network share library (smb://) if gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs package is installed (it is a dependency for SoundConverter package).

I am noticing this in Ubuntu distro since the Intrepid release.

The rank of gio and gnomefs elements have been inverted since a few months and latest gstreamer base release should have fixed these issues.
Comment 2 Edward Hervey 2010-05-09 14:35:31 UTC
(This is based on the fact that, reading the upstream bug, people that had only giosrc installed had no problems but the moment they installed gnomevfssrc everything went to the crapper).
