A Mallard rewrite of Seahorse is underway. We'll include this feature there.

Importing SSH keys through gnome-keyring (and thus through any app using gcr, like seahorse) doens't work yet. (I'm working on it here) 
The way to import keys for now is to copy them manually into ~/.ssh/
