GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 617536
ensure text is converted to local encoding before calling zenity
Last modified: 2020-11-06 20:07:30 UTC
This is a follow-up of bug #462734 which reappeared with metacity 2.28.x and is still present with 2.30.x. Zenity is expecting text in local encoding which can be different from UTF-8. Therefore, all text passed to zenity is encoded using g_locale_from_utf8 in meta_show_dialog.
