Description Peter Majmesku 2010-04-27 19:11:45 UTC
I'm using Bluefish 2 on Ubuntu 9.10. There is an applet for the
gnome-panel: globalmenu. It makes gnome looking like mac osx, because
the menu bar is in the panel. So there is more space on the screen.
Other gnome apps, like Geany or Gedit, work well with "globalmenu". With
Bluefish the menu bar is in the panel, but there is no react, when I
click on them.

have you tried the question in the globalmenu community? I cannot find any documentation on the globalmenu website what bluefish should change to get this working.
Comment 2 Peter Majmesku 2010-04-28 06:36:28 UTC
There is a wiki on the globalmenu-website: http://code.google.com/p/gnome2-globalmenu/wiki/DevelopmentHome. on http://code.google.com/p/gnome2-globalmenu/wiki/GlobalMenuSpecification you can see the globalmenu specification.

I've posted in the globalmenu bugtracker, as well: http://code.google.com/p/gnome2-globalmenu/issues/detail?id=597.
Comment 3 Peter Majmesku 2010-05-01 12:21:14 UTC
On Ubuntu 10.04 (64 Bit) the globalmenu works suddenly with bluefish.
Comment 4 Olivier Sessink 2010-05-06 21:21:20 UTC
may I close this bug as this is probably not related to bluefish code but to other libraries or the globalmenu code?
Comment 5 Fabio Durán Verdugo 2010-08-26 16:57:03 UTC
can we close this bug?
