I'm running netowrk-manager 0.8 in ubuntu and I saw that the access point name for broadband provider 3 in Italy is not correct.
The current setup is 
"Ricaricabile" -> tre.it
"Abbonamento" -> datacard.tre.it

This is wrong because "Abbonamento" APN is also tre.it

So I suggest this fix:

"Standard" -> tre.it
"Tre.Dati" -> datacard.tre.it

I'm sorry Nicolò, but you are completely wrong.

As you can see here:

SuperWeb and SuperWebTime plans have apn tre.it and they are "Ricaricabile"

Other Plans have apn datacard.tre.it and they (Tre.Time Large Medium Small Tre.Dati Plus) are "Abbonamento".

I was the guy who provided that patch and was correct.

Dan, could you please revert this commit ASAP? Maverick 10.10 is coming in a very short time.

And, please, could you also add this other provider?
