GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 616388
Support geo URI-s
Last modified: 2018-07-11 23:56:22 UTC
Emerillon could support specifying geo URI-s [1,2] on the commandline or maybe even via a search function. [1] http://ietfreport.isoc.org/all-ids/draft-mayrhofer-geopriv-geo-uri-01.txt [2] http://placetime.com/geopoint/wgs84/
More up to date URL https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-geopriv-geo-uri/ I propose to use this instead of position nr 2.
Emerillon is not under active development anymore and has not seen code changes for many years. Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/emerillon/commits/master The project has been superseded by GNOME Maps: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Maps Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
