Description Nicolò Chieffo 2010-04-20 14:13:31 UTC
After unchecking "Enable broadband" the GUI does not change: I can still see the broadband connections in the applet.

This is the syslog output:
modem-manager: Modem /org/freedesktop/ModemManager/Modems/0: state changed (enabled -> disabling)
modem-manager: (ttyACM0) closing serial device...
modem-manager: Modem /org/freedesktop/ModemManager/Modems/0: state changed (disabling -> disabled)
Comment 1 Dan Williams 2010-04-24 07:28:47 UTC
Right, because the modem can be enabled on-the-fly by selecting one of the connections. When it's disabled though, you wont' be able to see registration status or signal strength. But when disabled the device will be disconnected from the network and may also be in low-power state. Not all modems support the low-power state but those that do will be placed into it when disabled.
Comment 2 Nicolò Chieffo 2010-04-24 08:03:28 UTC
What does this comment mean? That it's the intended behavior, and the GUI must show anyway the connections?
