On a clean system with no gobject-introspection installed I get this error: Making all in gir make[2]: Entering directory `/home/mandrake/rpm/BUILD/gobject-introspection-0.6.10/gir' CC libgirepository_everything_1_0_la-everything.lo CC libgirepository_gimarshallingtests_1_0_la-gimarshallingtests.lo GISCAN GLib-2.0.gir GICOMP cairo-1.0.gir GICOMP fontconfig-2.0.gir GICOMP freetype2-2.0.gir GICOMP GL-1.0.gir GICOMP libxml2-2.0.gir GICOMP xft-2.0.gir GICOMP xlib-2.0.gir GICOMP xfixes-4.0.gir CCLD libgirepository-everything-1.0.la CCLD libgirepository-gimarshallingtests-1.0.la GISCAN GIMarshallingTests-1.0.gir Couldn't find include 'GObject-2.0.gir' (search path: ['../gir', '.', '../gir', '.', '/usr/share/gir-1.0', '/usr/share/gir-1.0', '/usr/share/gir-1.0']) make[2]: *** [GIMarshallingTests-1.0.gir] Error 1 make[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
