This is still happening, although it was noted that this would be fixed in the 0.7.x release: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnote-list/2010-January/msg00009.html

This is still happening for version 0.7.2 as shipped on Fedora Core 13.

Since this has been confirmed that it is still happening, and has even had a duplicate marked, can this be moved from UNCONFIRMED to CONFIRMED?

Confirmed here with 0.7.2.

But this is not only the "Note of the day" plugin : all plugins are activated by default each time I launch my session.
