Description ken 2010-04-13 14:38:46 UTC
Binary package hint: rhythmbox

When I go to the plugin settings in rhythmbox, the Magnatune plugin does not let me enter my username or password. Whichever option I choose the username and password options remain grayed out, and the close button is unresponsive. I have to use the X in the corner to close the dialog box.

Comment 1 Adam Zimmerman 2010-04-15 23:34:44 UTC
Fixed in commit be3bbc01. I'm not entirely sure why, but for some reason in the version of pygtk(?) used in the Ubuntu betas, widget names can no longer be accessed via widget.props.name, and are no longer automatically set from their id in the builder file. This patch works both on my current version, and the version in the beta.

So the issue is fixed in rhythmbox, and can hopefully be fixed in the Ubuntu version before it's released.

Thanks for the update. I will add this info to my bug report on the Ubuntu beta site. They were the ones that directed me here.

If this is fixed in Rhythmbox as stated above, can the bug status be changed from "UNCONFIRMED" to RESOLVED?
