Description Johannes Buchner 2010-04-13 09:35:33 UTC
Hi.

Frequently, when I click on a diagram to edit its preferences or to move it, gnumeric doesn't realise the mouse release. I have the diagram sticking to my mouse cursor for dragging.

Screenshot:
[Imagine a diagram in the middle of drag&drop] what you can't see is that the mouse button is not pressed.

Workarounds:
a)
Sometimes I can "escape" by fast double clicks, which brings me into the preferences.

b)
I can also escape by pressing Esc, which brings me back to the last active cell. However, after this, the spreadsheet is an a weird mode where I can't enter data anymore by just typing away. I have to click into the formula box to change the cell.
This state can only be resolved (AFAIK) by closing the spreadsheet and reopening it (gnumeric doesn't have to be restarted).

I am not sure how I can help describe the bug better (video?). I'm using 1.8.4. Maybe it has been fixed already?
