Description Olav Vitters 2010-04-09 19:21:45 UTC
The git module gnomeweb-wml has a lot of history.

Would be nicer to split this up into:
* projectsweb-wml (or just projects-web?)
* gnomeweb-wml (or gnome-web?)
* peopleweb-wml (or people-web?)

This will minimize the amount of data people need to download. Lots of gnomeweb-wml stuff has been moved to other places as preparation for the new www.gnome.org.

There was also a news.gnome.org in there, but that is really obsolete. You can only find that in the history. The news.gnome.org we have now is totally different.

Note: Maybe only split of people.gnome.org and projects.gnome.org. This as www.gnome.org is (sort of) deprecated anyway.

If someone does this, please keep a bit of history, but not a full copy though. Suggest looking into the size of the .git directory.

The GNOME Infrastructure Team is currently migrating its bug / issue tracker away from Bugzilla to Request Tracker and therefore all the currently open bugs have been closed and marked as OBSOLETE.

The following move will also act as a cleanup for very old and ancient tickets that were still living on Bugzilla. If your issue still hasn't been fixed as of today please report it again on the relevant RT queue.

More details about the available queues you can report the bug against can be found at https://wiki.gnome.org/Sysadmin/RequestTracker.

Thanks for your patience,

the GNOME Infrastructure Team
