GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 614873
external screen shut down when *opening* laptop lid
Last modified: 2020-11-06 20:14:07 UTC
when the laptop lid is closed, and an external screen active, opening the lid causes external screen to shut down as if the lid just had been closed. steps to reproduce : close the lid, the external screen will shut down move the mouse, the external screen lights up again open the lid, the external screen goes back to sleep I'm running fedora 12 updated (gnome 2.28.2), but I did not find an "about" to tell the version of gnome power manager. As far as I remember, this was not an issue with when I was on debian unstable one month ago...
ok, actually gnome-power-manager --version gives 2.28.2, the same as gnome.
2.30.1, still the same problem
