Description Raphaël 2010-04-05 13:23:28 UTC
when the laptop lid is closed, and an external screen active, opening the lid causes external screen to shut down as if the lid just had been closed.

steps to reproduce :
close the lid, the external screen will shut down
move the mouse, the external screen lights up again
open the lid, the external screen goes back to sleep

I'm running fedora 12 updated (gnome 2.28.2), but I did not find an "about" to tell the version of gnome power manager.
As far as I remember, this was not an issue with when I was on debian unstable one month ago...

ok, actually gnome-power-manager --version gives 2.28.2, the same as gnome.
Comment 2 Raphaël 2010-05-24 15:39:18 UTC
2.30.1, still the same problem
Comment 3 André Klapper 2020-11-06 20:14:07 UTC
bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-power-manager/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
